Here's a shot of a Lantana after a soft rain. Enjoy the Positive Energy!
I was saddened to hear the news of his passing. May you and your loved ones find comfort in your time of sorrow. Words are always hard to find during times like these but I just want to say that I am thankful you shared the stories about him with me. I did not know him personally but I feel that I knew him personally just the same. Now he is free from the body that held him prisoner and he can see clearly again. I know that he'll be watching over you and the family. May God bless you All. You're in my prayers, as always. Take care. I just wanted to say, "thank you," for letting me know that you're okay. All I ever wanted for you was for you to be happy, healthy and healed. It's so great to hear that you're heading in the right direction. You go, Boy! Love, Hugs & Positive Energy to you always! :) I'm so happy that you finally got help! It really does my heart good to know about this...I was really worried about you. I'm so thankful you're going to be okay!! Hooray!!!! Love, smiles, hugs and always positive energy sent your way!!! :) I am sending you this burger to ponder because I know you are careful about maintaining your health. It has a Portabella(o) Mushroom as a "patty," covered with melted mozzarella. Then sauteed red onion, roasted red bell pepper and avocado slices. You don't even need any condiments with this one. It's great on wheat, too, but I couldn't find any wheat buns. You can grill the Portabella(o), saute it, or broil it in your oven. (Sorry about the Portabella, Portabello spelling....both are acceptable, it jus Here's to your health! :) .....to brighten your day. Dress it with a simple vinaigrette or whatever else you like. The base has: 2 kinds of lettuce-Iceberg & Green Leaf, baby tomatoes, red cabbage, baby bok choy, cucumbers and carrots. The top layer has: pepper bacon, boiled eggs, real cheddar cheese and Black Forest Ham. Added after pic was taken: black olives, avocado, red onion and green olives stuffed with garlic and jalapeno. Good stuff! It's a whole meal in one and very satisfying. :) I'm sending this gift to a friend. May you have many happy meals of spaghetti & meatballs (with homemade meatballs and sauce.) This is from my heart to you. I made you a fresh salad to go with the spaghetti & meatballs. Have a glass of milk and all of your food groups will be covered. Bless you. Introducing: The Winners of Positive Contest! FIRST PRIZE: Jared H. of Texas--Jared's entry told the story of his selfless gift to an elderly neighbor. He helps his neighbor on a daily basis, making sure she's eating properly. He also takes care of her lawn and does her grocery shopping...all without charge! We need more people like Jared in this world. Congratulations, Jared! SECOND PRIZE: Nancy M. of Texas--Nancy noticed a car on the side of the road that was having car trouble, and she decided to stop and help. "Even though most people have cell phones these days, you just never know," she said. It turns out the stranded driver did have a cell phone, but Nancy stayed with her until help arrived. She made a new connection that day, and a new friend. Now she wants to do it again. Congratulations, Nancy! THIRD PRIZE: Anton R. of New York--Anton is our youngest winner, he's not even a teenager yet. Anton's good deed was taking care of his friend's dog while his friend was on vacation. Now he wants a dog of his own, so hopefully his parents will allow him to have one. Now he has a little cash to help with his dream. As it turns out, the easiest way to choose the winners for this contest was to throw all of the names in a hat. There were so many good deeds, I could indeed write a book about this. Maybe I will. One thing's for sure, we are definitely going to have another Positive Contest! Stay tuned! |
